Lightroom Classic 9.0 (?) Camera Raw bug

MacOS 10.15.1

LR Classic 9.0

Was doing some basic maintenance on my system when I noticed that the Adobe Camera Raw 2 cache folder contained 8+ Gb, here the setting in LR states that the max size is 5 Gb... So basicly LR isn't cleaning up the cach.

Hi Karel,

That's quite unusual as the Camera Raw cache could be either related to cache captured by Lightroom or Bridge.

Whats happens if you delete the contents of these folders? Does Lightroom or any other app triggers regeneration of the thumbnails or cache?

Thanks,

Akash

Hi,

Thanks for the fast response...

After deleting the content files get regenerated when using Lightroom (I don't use Bridge).
I'll keep an eye on the total size of the directory the comming days...

Karel.

Hi Akash,

An update..

The total filesize in the Cache directory is 8.5Gb.. so the Maximum Cache Setting in the Performance Preferences is ignored.
I think this can be categorized as a bug.
