I am using lightroom classic 9.0 on a lenovo P72 with 64gb, a xeon e-2186m and a quadro P5200 16gb videocard and basic display operations on its 4k screen are slow as hell?

I mean resizing the windows is so laggy and slow it is almost unusable!

I can't believe the application lacks performance so muh, it runs better on smaller slower machines.

I installed the latest Nvidia drivers of course and nothing changed.

Any ideas? #adobe help please????

As Lightroom is performing slow, could you please try optimizing the performance of Lightroom and let us know if it helps? https://helpx.adobe.com/in/lightroom-classic/kb/optimize-performance-lightroom.html

Hi, if you read my message again, minimum requirements really shouldn't be an issue.

The worst part is that just resizing the application window is sluggish and slow, that really shouldn't be the case with high end machines, no other application I run (including CAD, rendering apps, etc) shows anything like that.

CaptureOne works flawlessly on this very same machine.

Hello,
I have the same problem with a PC much less powerful. This is getting worse day by day, despite the recommended configurations, cleanings and more.
I also updated the nvidia driver, without success
