Lightroom classic CC windows 10 not importing

Lightroom is not letting me import mov. video file.  get message....."an unknown error has occured while reading video file.connecting to dynamic link server failed"

it use to work months ago.  I also read quicktime has a securtiy issue.  I did install it, it still didn't work and uninstalled it.

We can try to help here. But, first, please provide some additional detail:

• What version of Lightroom are you using?
• What version of Windows 10 are you using?
• Where did the .mov file originate? From what device?
• Can you open and play the .mov file with another program?

That will get us started.
