Lightroom Classic not able to open Raw Images in Photoshop 2021 Disk Error

I recently updated both Lightroom Classic to 10.2 and Photoshop to 22.3 and updated camera raw.  I am on a Mac running 11.2.3.  When I try to open raw files our to lightroom in photoshop I get a disk error message.  I have reinstalled both applications.  Today, same problem.  Another problem that developed at the sametime is that on import of Raw Files into lightroom I have no previews before import.  If I send a tiff flle to photoshop out of lightroom it will open it.  If I take the exsisting raw file out of lightroom and on the desktop it will open it.  Any solutions out there?

How are you trying to "open" the raw files when you get the disk error message?

For lightroom you must "import" the images.

For Photoshop, you open them.

So the next question is: Where are the original photo files located? on the same internal drive as the operating system?
