Hi.....

I am trying to import files across to lightroom classic from my mac pro which isnt regconising or allowing me to select either when sourcing other options...I have photos stored on my hardrive but still the system doesn't seem to locate any photos when selecting this options...Can anybody tell me or help with why....Ive tried to allow access through (Get Info) and (Preferences) but still no joy.

Any help would be great as i am doing an online tutorial and can't progress any further.

Hope this makes sense.

Very frustrating.

Please state the version NUMBER of your operating system. Please state the version NUMBER of your Lightyroom Classic. We need the NUMBER and not words like "latest" or "up-to-date".

Are you perhaps running MacOS X Catalina? If so, make sure that Lightroom has the proper permissions.

Hi thanks

Ive just checked this and it sert for access as you've mentioned.

Just tried to connect my Sd card and it works directly but when i save a file it not recogning or allowing access still.

I know i must be doing something incorrect as i'm aware of this...and i understand what your telling me.

Everythigs seem to be up to date with the operating system.

Just a bit bafferling.

Do you store either or both your catalog or photos in the MACOS folder Photos?

If so, return to the MACOS System Preferences, return to Security and Privacy, Privacy tab, scroll to Photos, make sure Lightroom Classic is included.
