Lightroom Classic recognize files from new Nikon Z7II?

Does anyone know if Lightroom 9.4 will recognize RAW files from one of the new Nikon Z7II / Z6II cameras?  

If not, does anyone know it Adobe will release an update to that to include those cameras?

Upgrading to Lightroom 10 is not possible at the moment -- my computer won't run Mojave.

9.4 will not read the Z7II files. You will be able to just use the free dng converter app from Adobe to convert the files to dng and those will open in 9.4 and be fully editable.

Adobe will release an update but we don't know yet when. It will likely be after the camera is released. Might be a few months after the camera is released.

P.S. It will take a while too befoire dng converter can read these files. LR C v10 does not currently support these cameras and it will need an update.

Yes it will be in the Next release of LrC, possibly, more than likely.

Adobe does not announce when or if any changes, additions, will be made to any program.

And we here are basically users just like you.

This always happens for First adopters of new cameras.
