There is something terribly wrong with V10, it's super laggy in library mode and killing our worklow here.
I'm using Lightroom in a headshot-studio setting for tethering and culling images together with clients. The process is simple, camera (Nikon D810) is tethered and images are afterwards looked at individually in loupe view (E), marked with stars and then selectively looked at in survey mode to chose among small groups of 4-6 images.
Gooing from image to image in loupe view is terribly slow, lasting 2-3 seconds after pressing the arrow key and also tagging with a star rating takes about 2-3 seconds, until the rating is aplied and visible. This on the very same setting, where that process worked smoothly just until before the update.
Catalog was optimized, so that's not the issue, it's also a small catalog with just a few hundred images each time.
Deconnecting the camera from tethering makes it a slight bit faster, but not that much. It really seems that Adobe released some serious bugs in this versions or some processes are going crazy in the background, even though activity monitor on the Mac does not suggest this.
Anyone having similar issues?
Any solution ideas?
Thank you all!
