Hi all, about 2-3 months when I finish a work and exporting the images, the CPU is used to 100% (all cores) and the computer becomes unusable. Mi computer is a workstation with 32 GB, Radeon PRO, 3,6 GHz Intel Core i9... SSD... And I've not Malware... Is it the version of Lightroom (9.2)?   Cheers. Francesco

Also, state how much space you allow for Camera RAW CACHE

And state hiw many images being exported and average image size, total size if known.

The issue you're experiencing is one that has plagued Lightroom customers (Windows and Mac) for some considerible time.  Unfortunately, the behaviour was/is as intended. Therefore, I recommend that you submit your experiences along with system details to the following thread on Adobe's feedback forum https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/classic-cc-uses-90-cpu-during-export

While there you will see a post by Robert (Bob) Frost that contains a potential workaround for customers using windows OS

Exporting is a high-CPU procedure.

As a work around, you can use your OS tools to lower the priority of Lightroom to "below normal" before starting the export. This will give the "normal" priority apps and the OS more CPU to keep the computer responding more nicely while letting Lightroom still suck up all the unused CPU time.

Can you get a Mac technician to test your HDD efficiency status?

Are you exporting to an external hard drive attached to your machine?

Is your machine dedicated to Lightroom and not loaded with other software?

Disk speed should only make a trivial impact on export speed. Probably 99% or more of the time is taken up by the CPU.

This behavior is expected. Changes were made in a previous version to more aggressively use CPU cores during the Export operation. Export takes priority over local operations to facilitate much faster exports.
