Lightroom has been working great untill today. No changes or updates made to the program or PC. It's version 10.1.1 updated a few days ago. When I attempt to open LR from the desktop as always or from Creative Cloud it doesn't react in any way. I.ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times as well as cold and warm booting my PC.
Is it possible that you shut down the computer without closing LrC? Or have a computer crash? That will leave a file in the directory with the catalog with a .lock extension. Search your drive for .lock. If you find one in the catalog folder, delete it. That will let LrC start ok.
