Lightroom Classic wont open CR2-files from Canon 6D Mark II

Hello,

I just switched from shooting a Canon 6D to a Canon 6D Mark II and the CR2 files will not open in Lightroom Classic (the most updated version 10.0). 

I can open them in Photoshop.

I'd rather not have to convert them to DNG as it just will add so much more time to my editing process. 

Any help??

Support for the Canon 6D Mark II was added to LR 6.12, so its raws should definitely open in LR 10.  Please provide more detail about what happens when you try to import one of its raws -- if there's a message, please quote it word-for-word or provide a screenshot.

When I try to import the raws (and I've even tried converting to DNG and it doesn't work), I can see the photo preview, but I cannot select any images to be imported.  There is no message as to why they will not import, they are just not selectable. 

I've tried deleted and reuploading Lightroom, clearing preferences, converting to DNG and nothing is working! 

I can import raw files from my Canon 6D but all the photos from the 6D Mark ii are not working,

That's what would happen if the photos to be imported are already in the catalog -- in that case, the thumbnails in the Import window are greyed out. If you post a full-resolution screenshot of the Import window, that would confirm it and/or perhaps provide more clues.

In the Import screen, double check that your Destination is valid.
