Downloaded the lastest version of Lightroom Classic to tether capture and for a second it worked.  When i tried to use a longer usb cable and take my camera to one of my studio setup station it no longer works.  Lightroom does not reconize my camera.  Reverted back to the short cable and still lightroom cannot find.  It's like this app works sometime and other times it does not work...help!!!!!!

What camera? Some cameras may have a USB cable length limit.

What cable? One for this purpose?

What type/spec or USB? USB C for example may have a length limit for data.

After replacing the cable with the shorter one, did you on purpose turn the camera off, then back on? Some cameras require that.
