Lightroom often hangs for me when I attempt to export images. This happens in either of the following scenarios
1. Standalone export via File > Export
Hangs at 'Export <n> file(s)'
2. Export to edit in a 3rd party app (I have ON1 Resize) via Photo > Edit In > ...
Hangs with 'Preparing file for editing'
This happens fairly often. The only way I can get around it is by repeatedly restarting LR. (Once the issue happens, retrying the export always gives the same results. It is possible to click the 'x' to cancel the export process during this 'hang' though.
Anyone else experiencing this, and any suggestions to help troubleshoot this?

Same here, it's gotten a lot worse lately. I think it finally *does* export if I leave it alone, but LR basically locks up during the process. Running on a new iMac, 24GB RAM, i7 CPU, AMD Radeon R9 M390 2048 MB.
Lightroom for me has just gotten slower and slower and slower. My catalog has about 44,000 photos, and several thousand offline as well. Just feels bloated and sluggish compared to the rest of the system.
