Lightroom profile "Edit in photoshop" not working, only works on presets

I have some profiles installed in my CameraRaw/settings folder that work great in LR. I am happy with an edit and want to apply something in photoshop so I click edit in > photoshop. When bringing it over into photoshop the photo is not edited anymore. How do I get these profiles to work in photoshop?

Both apps are fully up to date on W10.

I found exporting in LR as a dng, then open with > photoshop and then clicking open as copy will do what I want but with regular presets this is a one click action that now requires me to do a few things to bring over a photo in Ps.

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.

I'm editing the .arw (sony raw) file in lightroom using a profile that I purchased, when I right click the photo in lightroom > edit in photoshop the profile isn't being carried over.

I believe the original author of the thread was he may have put the profiles he purchased in the wrong location. See the link below for the correct location.

In addition you need the provide the exact version of LrC and Photoshop, you have installed also, the Operating system and version number you are using.

This is a known bug. Adobe knows about it and is working on a fix, but they do not seem to be in a hurry. As this is a user-to-user forum there is nothing we can do.
