Long time LrC user w Canon Mark3 - Cant IMPORT!!!!!!

Havent imported and edited in a many months. I use a Apple Mac ver 10.15.7 Everything been great for years but I wanted to do some import/editing today. I openned LrC and plugged in my Mark3 and NOTHING the camera isnt in a part of the source selection and Im unable to find any threads regarding this. Ive gotten angry and baffled. Did I miss something? Help.

One possibility, new MACOS security. On the MAC, in the MACOS, bring up System Preferences, select Security and Privacy, select the Privacy tab, scroll down to Files and Folders, For Lightroom Classic, make sure all media types are checked.
