LR Classic not reading Photoshop vector masks properly

Hello there,

I just wanted to point out that LR Classic CC has problems properly interpreting Photoshop files that incorporate a vector mask. I've had that happening on several files, on some the flaw simply disappeared after working on the file again, on one it didn't. it looks like it leaves out a tile underneath the vector mask,. as displayed on the screenshot.

It's not only a preview error, the files are also being exported faulty from LR.

Software versions are all up to date, PS CC 21 and LR Classic 10, running on WIN 10.

Yes. This is Photoshop layer compositing, not Lightroom.

The Photoshop compositing engine has been updated in later versions to use the GPU. There were some initial problems with it, and in previous versions there was an option to "use legacy compositing". This has now been removed.

First of all, update your video driver, and then try to save out a new file. If still not right, try the feedback forum which is the official bug report channel, monitored by engineers. Link up on the main page.

Lightroom Classic does not support layers. What it shows you is the hidden composite layer that Photoshop has generated, so this must be a Photoshop problem. This is a user-to-user forum however. For feature requests and bug reports, go to https://feedback.photoshop.com. Search for your item first. If it is already reported by someone else, then don't create a new thread but add your vote to the existing one.
