Lightroom Classic won't start. Gets to splash scrren and then gives up. I uninstalled and reinstalled, so now 10.2, but still no good. I have Apple Macbook Air M1 with Big Sur 11.2.3. Any suggestions please?

Update. After some help from Apple support I established that this isn't a LR problem, but something very strange in my user account on the Mac. Upshot of it is I erased the Mac's internal drive, reinstalled the OS and am now rebuilding everything. Daren't do a complete restore from my Time Machine backup for fear of restoring the problem too. But LR Classic works. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time.
