Is that a Microsoft message or an Adobe message?

Sounds like Microsoft.

Is this computer the property of a school?

Is this computer the property of an employer?

My first assumption is you are on a computer on a work or school LAN, And the Information Tech staff has implemented a standard Group Policy setting to prevent employees/students from installing software. This would come under Cyber Security 101 the bare minimum course for Info Tech security. Never ever ever let non I.T. staff install software, PERIOD NO DUSCUSSION.

Mind you, if you attempted to install software in such an environment, the Information Security Manager (or whatever the position is called) should be in your office inquiring why a security alert showed up in his/her e-mail.

Oh, clearly stated , you are the Admin. Not on a work/school LAN? The true Admin?

Then if Windows look to Group Security Manager (tool)  see: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-update-has-been-disabled-by-your-syste...

Also, how many computers does Adobe think you have this copy installed activated on? Limit 2.

Hi David,

You can actually install on as many as you like.

Activation limit at any one time is 2. Activations can be toggled between computers.
