You have provided very few details.

You have a GPU that is 6 years old, why do you say it is supported?

What actions are you doing in Lightroom Classic?

Is the GPU turned on in Lightroom Classic?

How large (in pixels) is your monitor?

The GPU is still supported in the list.
Even if I have a newer version it still says the same  - I have a P1000 Quadro too. Same issues.

Actions - Importing, generating LR Previews, Rendering out.

YES - GPU is turned ON.

The monitor is a FULL HD Monitor and also a DELL U2518, hardly makes a diff.

"Actions - Importing, generating LR Previews, Rendering out."

The GPU isn't used by Lightroom Classic during these actions.

Perhaps you are expecting LrC to actually use the GPU processor or VRAM in ways it simply does not.

see: https://photographylife.com/gpu-acceleration-in-lightroom

And, unlike a high end game, LrC even when it does use the GPU for a performance advantage, does not actually use much of what us available.

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Past that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.
