If this is a new current camera, realize that even 6.14 will likely not support your camera. 6.14 is very old and won't get camera support updates. So if your camera is not supported by 6.14 and you don't want a Lightroom Classic subscription, you'll want to download the free dng converter from Adobe: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/adobe-dng-converter.html which will allow you to convert your new camera's raw files to dng, which can be opened in old versions of Lightroom.
