LrC 10.1 hangs, and hangs my Mac as well.

I just tried to use an adjustment brush on a picture from a 7D Mk II, and it hung Lightroom Classic 10.1, and my computer as well.  Twice.  It would seem this update has real problems, possibly having to do with the newly-integrated graphics hardware integration.  System details on request, 2012 Mac Pro running Mojave.  Metal-capable graphics card installed and enabled in Lightroom.

The first thing that you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue. 

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

Almost the same problem: total freezing of LR 10.01 and whole system when trying to work on picture-files in the development mode.

On my Mac (2014, Mojave) there is no newly-intrgrated graphics hardware.

I have to add, that i followed the advice, to switch off the gpu-support. After that, LRc works without freezing but extremely slowed when openening foto-files for development.

Starting with LrC v10.0, some third party plug-ins caused problems. In LrC bring up the Plug-in Manager, look at each plug-in, see if any issues are noted. Probably not an issue with Adobe Plug-ins. But check, at least, (3), (4), and (5).

I also have the usual problem!
I only fix it by turning off 3d acceleration in the development panel.
I think the problem is with Camera Raw because I have the usual Photoshop problem when I work a raw.
