LrC 10.1 images could not be found

Hi,

LR doesn't recognize where my original RAW photos are and each image has an error symbol and says the image "could not be found. would you like to relocate it?"

Usually, should work, - after going to the right folder and locating the correct image, the whole catalog related images should sync & locate and the error icons should disappear.

This time all of my LR images have this error message and each image needs to be located separately.

More details:

I use external hard drives for storing all of my images and I haven't relocated them, not renamed and not deleted any of them.

My macOS Catalina is version - 10.15.6

And my LR aid currently on LR Classic v 10.1

Has your Catalina upgrade been installed over the top of your existing LRC?

Hi tony, I recently upgrade my imac (late 2013)to Catalina I have ZERO lrcat files on finder now.  Nada, Ziltch.   any ideas what/where?  Luckily i have all the original images on a hard drive but the catalogues are gone.  Are they lost to me permanently now? Help!!
