I use a notebook with an updated Windows 10 installed. LRC with version 10 updated once I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling again.
This happens even if one isn´t using the second monitor for LRC - kept it on "one monitor".
After trying everything possible, which wasn´t much because I just couldn´t work on LRC, I tried disconnecting the second monitor from the USB connector and, lo and behold, LRC unfroze immediately and I didn´t have the problem anymore and have been working o LRC since.
I´m passing this experience on in case anyone has this issue and if in future updates this can be corrected. (And because I was just about to write to the forum if anybody had a solution for me)
