LRC shows 0 files after auto update

After CC auto updated Lightroom Classic, it showed 0 files in my catalog (panic). By default, Adobe now has auto updates turned on with no obvious way to turn off. This is wrong.

Got a good Remote Support guy who restored and said catalog was corrupted.

So what is/was your question?

If you mean Creative Cloud with CC then there certainly is a way to turn off any and all Auto Update systems.

You do that in the CC Desktop app preferences. To get to those preferences you use either Ctrl + , or File menu item then Prefecnes.
