Everytime I view an image in LrC v 10.1.1 to start retouching it, a bunch of Cache files appear on my desktop...for example Index_03.dat, Cache_05_00000 etc. It has never happened before and I don't know how to stop it...any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

You have your Camera Raw Cache location set to the Desktop. Not sure how that could have happened, but you need to change it to a separate folder location. In LrC got to Edit> Preferences> Perfromance tab and change the 'Camera Raw Cache Settings> Location to a folder similar to as shown below.

Thank you so very much Todd, I am not sure why the cache folder was set to the desktop, but I now have it set to the correct location. Thanks again for your help, I highly appreciate it!🙏
