Suddenly the map icons in the library photos, when clicked, keep showing the same map. It doesn't appear it can be enlarged or shrunk. I think it might be broken in the latest update.

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.

I'm afraid I don't understand the description above. Can you explain in more detail what you are doing and show us a screen capture?
Also, you might want to try resetting your preferences.

Well, this morning, the maps started showing up properly. Before (and after the latest update this week) every time I clicked on a map it would show the same satellite view of some place not related to the photo. Perhaps it just had to adjust to the changes in the latest update.
