Are there any problems merging a Lightroom Classic catalog and library from a laptop running Catalina to a Desktop computer running Mojave? My laptop is new so my only choice for an operating system is Catalina, and I use my laptop for travel.

No, there shouldn't be any problems. The system version has no influence on the catalog.

No problem at all... I don't know how you work between the two but I have for years kept may catalog/s on an external drive with presets stored so it is plug in to either and the catalog is up to date.

I usually have my image files on a seperate external drive/s as well!!
