Hi, Ive just noticed after this last update that the folders in my catalogue dated before 2020 are all missing. Ive run a folder synchronization and retrieved the folders but with only a handful of the imported photos from them. Ive tried to add the missing ones back under import but they wont because it is saying they are already there.
Help!!!! please - anyone any idea?
Thanks
Gill

Forgot to add that not all of the folders have re-appeared either.

Missing meaning they have a question mark icon on them, or missing as in they simply don't appear?
If they don't appear, then most likely Lightroom Classic upgraded the wrong catalog, and you need to find the catalog that shows the older folders.
If they have a question mark icon, follow these instructions: http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm
In neither case should you Import photos or Synchronize Folders. This is so important, I'm going to say it again: In neither case should you Import photos or Synchronize Folders.

No question mark at all as the folders don't show inside the catalog. Ive already run synchonise folders but it only gave me a few back. It did update the right catalog. Its the correct catalog file name plus the update version name.

Try upgrading your other catalogs.

Try again migrating the old data into the new catalog format by opening the old catalog in LR 10. Sometimes the migration during the setup of LR 10 does not go as it should.
