Moving catalog from one computer with LR desktop to a new computer with CC

Hello:  I have been running LR and PS desktop versions on an old Mac.   I just purchased a new Mac and downloaded Creative Cloud on it.   I keep most of my files on external drives, so they will be simple to transfer, but I am trying to figure out how to move the catalog and edits.    I attempted to put CC on the old Mac, but just realized it is not compatible with the the required operating system (Catalina).   It's too old.   How can I get my catalog and edits from the desktop version of LR on my old mac onto the CC version of LR on the new mac?
