I have a few images in a sub folder that I want to move to its own folder. The are RAW+JPEG images, but only the RAW images display. When I try to move them I get an error msg saying LR is unable to move the RAW images, but does not move the JPEGs either, and does not even mention them. First, why do only the RAW images display, and second, why can't I move them?
If only the raw files are being displayed in the Import dialog, check the settings to see what is set for "treat raw and JPG as separate files" (or some such phrasing).
What is the exact wording of the error message?
Mac or Windows? Which version of the OS?
Which exact version of Lightroom?
If LR is not letting you move the imported files, use your computer's file browser to move the files, then in LR use the "find missing files" process.
