My LRC freezes/blocks unexpectedly

I am using LRC since 2015 with great pleasure. However, for one reason or another, either after having updated LRC to the latest version, or after having updated my MAC to the latest operating software, LRC suddenly blocks (freezes) either when I am working in the "cropping" mode for several pictures in a row, or when  am doing local changes in several pictures in a row. Doing so, LRC does not react any longer and the cursorfreezes. I then need to shut down LRC completely and start it up again. The problems repeats itself when I carry out the same sort of work. For your info: My pictures are sitting on an external LaCie 8TB drive but the LRC catalog is located on the HardDrive of my MAC. Internal memory has recently been upgraded to 32GB.

Anyone else encountering this issue? Does anyone know what is wrong or how I can resolve this issue?

Looks like Adobe has had a huge problem with the update and MAC's of various MACOS versions.

 

Many are rolling back  to previous version and waiting for Adobe to fix.
