Nach Erstellung von Vorschaudateien Mac unbrauchbar und Finder und Dateien defekt

Hallo!

Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen fehlende Vorschaudateien für Fotos erstellt. Als ich danach mit den Bildern arbeiten wollte, habe ich eine Fehlermeldung bekommen, dass (sinngemäß) nicht auf den Cache mit den Vorschaudateien zugegriffen werden konnte. Nach einem Neustart des Programms kam die selbe Fehlermeldung erneut.

Ich habe dann den Mac neu gestartet und dann fingen die richtigen Probleme erst an. Sofort nach dem Hochfahren kam eine Fehlermeldung, dass der Finder unerwartet beendet wurde. Und das ab dem Zeitpunkt immer! Ich konnte kein Safari mehr starten, nicht in die Systemeinstellungen und schon gar nicht mehr in den Finder um auf meine Dateien zuzugreifen.

Ich habe versucht das MacOS neu aufzuspielen, die "Erste Hilfe" über die Festplatte laufen zu lassen, usw. Nach langem Kontakt mit dem Applesupport habe wir die letzte Not-Variante genommen und das MacOS auf eine externe Festplatte aufgespielt und von dieser gestartet.

Meine Probleme sind folgende:

1. auf der internen Festplatte werden Fotos im Finder zwar noch angezeigt, aber wenn ich sie auf die externe kopieren möchte, dann bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung, dasss der Vorgang nicht abgeschlossen werden konnte, da mindestens ein Objekt nicht gefunden wurde (Fehler -43).

Dabei handelt es sich um sehr sehr wichtige Bilder, die ich für Kunden benötige.

2. ich arbeite mit verschiedenen Katalogen, da Lightroom dann einfach schneller läuft. Bei 3 dieser Kataloge kann ich die .lrcat-Dateien nicht auf die externe FP kopieren und die Kataloge sind plötzlich viel kleiner, als vorher! D.h. vorher waren die Dateien teils rund 250 GB groß, jetzt nur noch 9 GB!

3. Auch die Ordner mit den Vorschaudateien / Smartvorschauen lassen sich nicht auf die externe FP kopieren. Hier kommt nach ein paar Dateien immer wieder eine Fehlermeldung, dass der Vorgang aufgrund eines unbekannten Fehlers nicht abgeschlossen werden konnte. (Fehler 100092)

Der Applesupport kann mir schon helfen, den Mac wieder zum Laufen zu bringen, aber leider nicht bei der Rettung der Fotos und vor allem meiner Kataloge mit allen bearbeiteten Dateien! Denn um den Mac wieder brauchbar zu machen, muss die komplette Festplatte gelöscht werden! Und was ich davor nicht retten konnte, ist weg.

Ich hoffe, mir kann jemand helfen, wie ich die Dateien retten kann. Das Backup in LR hilft mir nicht viel weiter, wenn die Originaldateien fehlen.

MacOS und LR sind alle auf dem neuesten Stand.

It sounds like your hard disk is malfunctioning.

Restore recent backups of your catalog files and photos.

I'm not sure, if that's the only problem. I'm working with different catalogs. I created the first one several years ago, the second one about 2 months and the last one about 4 weeks ago. So they can't be located in the same area of my hard disk. And it's not only the catalog and preview/smart preview folders I've been working with, that can't be copied to an external drive, but the 2 others I didn't use at that time too. So it seems, as if the problem would come from Lightroom and that caused the problem with the Finder / hard disk and not the other way around. 

The last thing I did before the problem started was to create new previews over night and the next day I got the error text after working with the pictures.

So at the moment all three .lrcat files are lost.

And it's strange that the size of the lrcat files did change too. (from about 250 GB to 9 GB and from about 50 GB to 1.7 GB)

My second problem is, that there are about 20 photos (original files and the tiff and psd files) I can't copy to the external drive because Finder says they, can't be found. These are photos from a shoot I can't repeat! These are photos from a recent shooting for wich I don't have any backup yet. So I need to find a way, to restore them.

As far as I know, these files are not included in the regular Lightroom backup.

Still sounds like the hard drive isn't working properly, to me. Lightroom Classic has no control over whether files can or cannot be copied, as it uses operating system calls; and so if there is a problem copying photos, there simply is nothing in Lightroom Classic that could cause this problem, its either the operating system or more likely a disk problem.

At the moment it's probably both. 

It seems, as if Lightroom caused the problem with the Finder and now it's impossible to copy the files because of a problem with the data on the hard drive. 

Right now I'm trying to reinstall the macOS, wich is located on another partition of the hard disc. And that's making problems too.

So I need to find a way to recover my files. 

They are show in the Finder, even with the right size, but when I try to copy them, I get the error, that the files can't be found.

Am Ende konnte mir leider weder der Support, noch der Techniker bei Apple helfen, die Dateien auf normalem Weg zu retten. 

Erfreulicherweise konnte ich aber fast alle Daten mit einer Wiederherstellungssoftware (EaseUS) sichern. Ob sie auch nutzbar sind, sehe ich erst nach einer kompletten Neuinstallation.
