Since I changed from the old Lightroom CC to Lightroom Classic, I now have a new catalog called Lightroom Catalog-2.lrcat, yet the original catalog is still on my external hard drive where I store all my photos.  Is that just a duplicate catalog?  Should I delete it and just work off the -2 catalog?

The -2 catalog is a copy of your original catalog, and has been upgraded by Lightroom Classic.

Lightroom catalogs are not backwards compatible, so the -2 catalog cannot be opened by any previous version of Lightroom.

The old catalog can be deleted, but you might want to keep it (or a regular backup) for a while, just in case.

That makes sense.  Thanks very much.  That's what I'll do.
