New update Lightroom Classic is extreme slow to work with!

The new update is terrible. I have a good and fast macbook pro. However scrolling, loading presets, clicking etc.... everything is extreem slow! Its like working on a 20 years old computer. Had no problem at al with the other version. Please fix this update. Work efficiency is currently down the drain!
