Yesterday's updates have rendered my Lightroom Classic almost useless. Lots of colour wheeling. Cannot use most tools without the program freezing after 5 minutes. My MacPro works perfectly otherwise.

You'll need to provide more information.
Easiest way to provide same is to open LrC Help, choose System Info. Copy the first 20 or so lines of the info dialog then paste to the forum. Below is an example

Did you update from LrC V 10.0 or upgrade from V 9.4? Some Macs are already having the slowness issue in V 10.0 and it seems V10.1 did not address that.
