Windows 10 Pro, LR 10

Before I got through a long, laborious explanation of what I'm seeing since switching to V10, is anyone else finding "different" behavior when going into the Metadata Status of the Library filter, selecting the bunch of images that need it, and doing a "Save Metadata to Files"?

Open metadata status and see a number of images that have been changed.  Click on the metadata symbol (the down-arrow on the thumbnail), expecting to get the popup to overwrite the disk or read the disk.  Instead it says it’s writing the metadata.

When it finishes all the same images are still there, still saying they’ve been changed.

Tried reading the metadata from the disk.  Nothing.

Sometimes it works, sometimes not…
