photos are deleted from lr but not original folder even though I indicate I want to remove from disk

hi 

I want to delete photos from lr as well as original folder on desk top. I indicate this when I wish to delete photos - delete from disk but they still stay in original folder on desk top. All photos are in raw

Do you are in a collection when you try to delete photos? If yes then the photo will only removed fron the collection.

Goto the "All Photographs" view and delete photos from there.

Folders are NEVER Deleted when you Delete from Disk the image that are in that folder. This is something you need to do Manually by Right Clickin on the folder in the Folder section of the Library module and Select Remove.
