I have a preset to add to Lightroom 6.0 in Windows 10. So, far I have not managed to get it to work, despite looking at several videos and procedures. The preset is a free one from PresetPro called CitySkyline LUT. From the videos it seems that the file type is usually .Irtemplate, but what I have are two files - one is .3DL and the other is .CUBE. The folder contains these two files only. I did think briefly that maybe the ones I have got are just for AppleMac, but that does not seem to be the case. I wonder is Preset LUT's are essentially different from other Presets? Anyone got any ideas please?
LUT support does not exist in Lightroom 6. LUT support only became availble from Lightroom 7.3 or higher. The old lrtemplate presets were also superseded in 7.3. Therefore, if you want to use LUTs or any of the more recent preset options you'll need to upgrade to the latest version of Classic (i.e. 9.3)
