Problem importing into LR

I updated my LR catalog and now it won't let me import new photos. Has anyone had this issue? I'm using a MAC

Can you provide more details? What is happening when you import photos? Do you use an import preset? Where do you store your photos on your internal drive or external? Where are you encountering a problem?

Are you importing photos that already reside on a hard drive with the Add method? Or are you importing directly from a memory card with the Copy method? If you are importing with the Copy method, there may permission or security issues with the hard drive they are trying to copy to.
