First, please confirm (by looking in Help->System Info) the exact version of Lightroom you are using. Next, please describe exactly what happens, and if there is an error message, please quote the exact unedited word-for-word error message.

1. Lightroom 4.4.1  with camera raw version 7.4

2. When connecting camera via usb, lightroom recognized camera with correct name.

-when trying to import raw files with copy as DNG settings, result is "No Photos Found"

-I am using just CF card and only raw format.

If you use Windows Explorer, can it see the files on the camera card?

Actaully, it just found it should be supported since 4.1 - I mixed it up with the Mk4.

I leave my comment below just for your infomation though.

Your new camera was released to the market long after LR 4.4 did. That said, its clear that the old LR version can not recognize the new RAW files from your new camera.

You have two options: Either get a subscription and update to the latest version of LR, or use the free DNG converter to convert the RAW to DNG and import these into your old LR version.

Many Thanks for your help guys,

I´ll  try that DNG converter at first, if it makes me frustrated, I´ll then consider LR upgrade... 🙂

But that's not necessary if you really have Lightroom 4.4 installed, you should be able to import the photos. Please confirm (by looking at Help->System Info) the version number of your Lightroom.

Thanks for all your help guys, I think case is clear now,

Yes , I have Lightroom 4.4.1 with camera raw 7.4

So I was at first wonderig this problem as I found also that MK3 should be supported since 4.1 version.

First I tried import directly from camera, what causes "No Photos" announce.

However,Canon EOS utility recognized and download images from camera OK.

Now I tried import with CF card reader and ooops, everything works fine with Lightroom

As I bought used  MK3, usb socket may have some functional interference.

This does not bother me as import from CF is much faster.

So, Thanks again guys your all replies.
