Problem with the live view not showing up while tethering

I've been trying to get the live view function to work on my mac. I'm tethering a canon 5d mk2 and i can take photos while tethered but live view just won't work. 

Anyone have any suggestions because i'm not finding anything on this.

The 5D Mk2 is not listed with Live View available!
