Problems importing

I have enough memory on external hard drive and can preview photo's. I've scanned the card and no problems there either, can anyone offer any suggestions please?

What about the write right of the destination?

What is your OS and version, what is your Lightroom and version and how much free space do you have at the destination (please check that the destination is really the destination you think it is...)

The dialog is suggesting one of two things.

1. The location you wish to import does not have enough space

or, and more likely

2. The disk, drive, or folder is not granting the proper permissions. Make sure it is set to read and write.
