When stacking multiple images where the best image is not the 1st in order, I find my current process steps annoyingly slow. What I'm doing is as follows:
1. select all images for the stack
2. right click; select STACKING; then select GROUP INTO STACK
3. open the stack by clicking on the bar on the left of the image
4. select the image I want on top; right click; select MOVE TO TOP OF STACK
5. close the stack
I'm hoping there is a more efficient way.

In the Library Grid view, before you have done any stacking, click on the photo you want to be at the top of the stack, then Ctrl-Clik on the rest of the photos in the stack, then Ctrl-G to create the stack.
