Hallo,

"is there a possibility in LrC to display the histogram of the current image section, i.e. the current zoom area?"

A slightly clunky method: Use the Crop tool to set a crop to the current zoom area. The histogram will update to the current crop (it's not necessary to close the Crop tool to see the histogram update).  If you don't want to lose the current crop, then use a snapshot or virtual copy.
