Right / left / up / down buttons do not work in the library view in the comparison view

When I'm not in the comparison view, the keys are working. I uninstalled LR Classic: everythink OK, but after closing and opening LRC again, the buttons again did not worked in comparison view. I uninstalled and installed LRC several times: always the same phenomenon

Can someone help?

When I use Ctrl +Left/Right Lightroom changes Candidate vs. Choosed Picture. This normaly should be done by clicking the down key

There is a small glitch. After you have selected Compare view, make sure that the candidate photo is selected (click on it). Now you can use the cursor keys to go from one candidate to the next, like you always could.

Select Candidate does not help.

PS: I use this function since years but since yesterday I got this issue. And when I install LRC new and open LRC this issue ist fixed, but after closing LRC and open LRC again this bug is there. Strange

What version and what OS? I checked it before I wrote it and it works for me (version 9.4 on MacOS).

I can see the same on Windows. However, the "official" Ctrl+Key, also listed in the Menu dropdown always works on my end.
