Saving images from RAW to jpeg

For some reason Lightroom started saving my images to psd instead to jpeg. How does that happen and how do I change it back to jpeg?

First LrC does not Save images.

You can Export images using the export dialog and in that dialog window there are options to save the export in different file types.

Check all you setting in the export dialog window.
