second copy to ext drive isn't possible

As I imported images to LR classic I used to make a second copy of the pictures on a ext HD.

Now I always receive a message that LR couldn't do it ;s o I wonder why ?

Let me guess. You upgraded to MacOS Catalina but forgot to mention that. MacOS Catalina requires Lightroom to have permissions to access certain folders and disks.
