Select Subject not showing in the object bar

After the latest update to Lightroom CC Select Subject does not appear in the object bar when I select any of the selection tools such as the lasso. How do I get it to show up again?

It does not sound like you are talking about Lightroom Classic. What software are you talking about? Please tell us the exact software name and the exact software version NUMBER (we need the number and not words like "latest" or "up-to-date").

1. Please post a screenshot of your issue

2. In Lightroom Classic, click on Help, click on System Info. Share with us the first 5 lines. This will provide program name/version, licence type, and OS.
