When I connect LR will not recognize it. is there somthing im missing or is it not suported yet?

Tethered support for any camera model always comes later. Not every camera model will be supported for tethered shooting, and Adobe doesn't ever indicate in advance whether or not any specific model will or will not be supported. It is simply a wait and see situation, unfortunately for you.
