Sierra randomly switches back to the main desktop when using Lightroom

This mostly happens in Library mode. I have Lightroom in Desktop #2, and whenever I get to Library mode, the system switches back to the Desktop #1.

I switch back to Desktop #2 (Lightroom) and keep working but whenever I do any action in Library, it returns me back to Desktop #1. It happens all the time, I've tried to adjust Mac settings in Mission Control but no help. What is the adjustment I need to do?

Many thanks in advance

Hi Geofocker,

We've documented the setup of Lightroom secondary monitor here Displaying the Lightroom Classic CC Library on a second monitor

Please take a look at this article and let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Akash

Hello Akash,

Thank you for trying to help, but I don't need a second monitor. I'm using a mac and have 3 desktops. Lightroom is on one of them.

When I try to use Lightroom, which is on Desktop 2, it immediately switches back to Desktop 1 where I have other programs. When I come back to Lightroom's desktop and perform any action in the program, it returns me back to Desktop 1, and so on etc...

Can we please get an update? I just got a new computer and am having the exact same issue! It's not a second monitor, its a virtual 'desktop' within Mac.

I am having the exact same problem. Like Geofocker's problem, this is a virtual desktop problem, not a second monitor one.

I am also experiencing this issue. If resolved, I'd love to be in the loop!
