Despite having a Ryzen 9 3900x, 64gb of memory and my photos in a fast hard drive (and catalog on an SSD) and with 67% free memory after launching LRC, since last update LRC seems to struggle even to draw the interface, as if it was running out of memory. I've got no plug ins loading up just LRC.
Has anyone else notied a similar issue with latest version? PS and others like Luminar do not have this issue.
The first thing that you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.
Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

Thanks so much for the advise, done, including updating driver (Nvidia Gforce experience seems slow at picking them up) and it has helped. Still, compared to other applications, Lightroom is slow, but will have to do until I move to ON1 or Capture One (or maybe even stay with Luminar 4 only). I have used LR since it started, and it has become slower and slower with each new version.

I've got the same problem on a 2020 iMaC 27 with 80 GB of memory. Excrutiatingly slow.
